Nestled in a private room beside the kitchen of Il Dandy is Arama. With interiors inspired by the Chefs Antonio and Luca Abbruzzino’s Michelin-starred Ristorante Abbruzzino in Calabria, Arama serves as a 'restaurant within a restaurant,’ offering an intimate 12-course tasting menu for up to six diners per evening.

Whereas Il Dandy is defined on the culinary spectrum as somewhere between traditional and modern Italian, Arama explores the modernity of Calabrian cuisine through the ultimate gourmet experience.

The Arama experience begins with a guided tour through the Abbruzzinos’ 2,300 sq. ft. kitchen where an aperitivo is served. Derived from the Latin word for “opener,” the Italian aperitivo performs as an opening act for the gastronomic experience that inevitably ensues. Guests are then welcomed into an intimate, private room designed to reflect the interiors of the Abbruzzino’s eponymous restaurant in Calabria.

The 12-course progressional tasting menu features interactive elements and select wine pairings to enhance the sensory experience.
